1981
Where It All Began
Earth Wisdom™ Music and Clothing was born in Michigan in 1981 — one of the very first retailers in the country to specialize in music for yoga, massage, and relaxation. Long before "wellness" was a buzzword, we were curating soundscapes for healers, teachers, and seekers.
What started as a passion for healing music quickly grew into something much bigger. Our customers kept asking: "Do you have anything else?" And so, Earth Wisdom evolved.
Then
The Goddess Clothing Era
We discovered that the same people who loved healing music also wanted clothing that felt magical. So we started sourcing the most extraordinary pieces we could find — silk and velvet beaded jackets, flowing ruanas, designer wraps, and the piece that would become our signature: the Magic Dress.
Moroccan-inspired and wearable a dozen different ways, the Magic Dress became beloved by customers who wanted fashion that was as versatile as they were. We also made a commitment early on: goddess clothing for every body, with a strong focus on plus-size options.

Today, Earth Wisdom™ is a full boutique brand with two pillars: outrageously gorgeous goddess clothing and humor and healing through apparel. Our t-shirts feature artist-original, copyrighted designs — funny cat shirts, sci-fi tees, nerdy humor, grammar jokes — "the best t-shirts in the known universe."
We believe fashion should be joyful, expressive, and accessible to all body types. Every piece we carry is chosen because it made us smile, gasp, or say "I NEED that." We hope it does the same for you.
